- Covers obtaining food, refreshment, accommodation, or credit without paying.
Defined Illegal Acts
- Obtaining food, refreshment, or accommodation with intent to defraud.
- Securing credit by using false pretenses.
- Abandoning or secretly removing baggage after obtaining credit, food, refreshment, or accommodation without payment.
Intent Requirement
- Act must be committed with intent to defraud the proprietor or manager of the establishment.
Legal Effectivity
- The act becomes effective immediately upon approval.
