- Prohibits vehicles such as automobiles, bull carts, and wagons from being on the toll road between stations outside designated hours.
- The authorized hours and regulations are to be clearly posted in English, Spanish, and Ilocano at toll and block stations.
- Violation constitutes a misdemeanor.
- First offense penalty: fine ranging from five to twenty-five pesos.
- Second or subsequent offense penalty: fine between ten and thirty pesos, or imprisonment between five and fifteen days, or both, at the court's discretion.
Protection of Toll Gates and Enforcement Personnel
- Prohibits injuring or damaging toll gates or other gates along the road.
- Interfering with toll gatekeepers in the performance of their duties is also prohibited.
- Violations are misdemeanors.
- Penalty upon conviction: fine up to one hundred pesos, imprisonment up to six months, or both, at court discretion.
Prohibition of Hazardous Objects on Roadway
- Forbids placing or causing to be placed items such as nails, tacks, wires, broken glass, or other objects that could damage vehicle tires or obstruct and endanger traffic.
- Violation constitutes a misdemeanor.
- Penalty upon conviction: fine not exceeding one hundred pesos, imprisonment up to six months, or both, as determined by the court.
Effective Date
- This amendment takes effect immediately upon its passage on April 18, 1911.
