Free Storage Period for Breakbulk/Bulk Cargoes

  • Incoming cargoes: One (1) calendar day free storage after unloading from the vessel.
  • Outgoing cargoes: Two (2) calendar days free storage prior to the vessel's scheduled arrival.
  • Shut-out cargoes (cargoes left behind after vessel departure): Two (2) calendar days free storage following vessel departure.

Free Storage Period for Containers

  • In-loaded containers: One (1) calendar day free storage after discharge.
  • In-empty containers: One (1) calendar day free storage from discharge date.
  • Out-loaded containers: Two (2) calendar days free storage prior to vessel arrival.
  • Out-empty containers: Two (2) calendar days free storage prior to vessel arrival.
  • Stripped containers: One (1) calendar day free storage after stripping.
  • Shut-out containers: Two (2) calendar days free storage after vessel departure.
  • Loaded containers arriving from outside port areas: Two (2) calendar days free storage prior to vessel arrival.

Implementation and Effectivity

  • The Circular was adopted on January 23, 2003.
