Basic Storage Rates

  • Differentiates rates based on type of cargo and storage duration.
  • General Cargo (No Free Storage):
    • Rate from PHP 0.585/kg/day to PHP 0.88/kg/day.
    • Minimum charge from PHP 33.75/day to PHP 50.63/day.
    • Exceptions for documents and diplomatic pouches charged at lower rates.
  • Special Cargo:
    • Minimum charge ranges from PHP 67.50/day to PHP 101.00/day.
    • Specific rates for baggage and personal effects, perishables, valuable cargo, dangerous drugs and restricted articles, live animals/fowls/plants, and human remains all escalating from PHP 0.585/kg/day up to PHP 1.76/kg/day by category.

Service Charges

  • Applied according to shipment weight per AirWaybill (AWB).
  • For shipments under 100 kg: rates from PHP 0.225/kg/day to PHP 0.34/kg/day.
  • For shipments 100 kg or more: rates from PHP 0.337/kg/day to PHP 0.51/kg/day.

Ancillary Charges

  • Backdoor Release:
    • Rates from PHP 1.875/kg to PHP 2.81/kg.
    • Minimum charge per AWB from PHP 112.50 to PHP 168.50.
    • Maximum charge per AWB from PHP 187.50 to PHP 281.25.
  • Deconsolidation Fee:
    • Fixed rates from PHP 94.50 per House Air Waybill (HAWB) to PHP 141.75/HAWB.
  • Returned Shipment Fee:
    • Rates from PHP 18.75/kg to PHP 28.13/kg.
    • Minimum charge from PHP 112.50 to PHP 168.75.
    • Maximum charge from PHP 187.50 to PHP 281.25.

Classification of Cargoes

  • General Cargo: All cargoes not classified as special cargo.
  • Special Cargo includes:
    1. Baggage and Personal Effects - Requires special care and dedicated storage.
    2. Perishables - Identified on Cargo Manifest (CM) and AWB or labeling; stored under controlled temperature. Includes all aquatic products.
    3. Valuable Cargo - Shown or labeled pursuant to IATA regulations on CM or AWB.
    4. Dangerous Drugs and Restricted Articles, Live Animals/Fowls/Plants, Human Remains fall under special cargo with specific handling.

Legal Effectivity and Provisions

  • All provisions of CAO 1-95 remain effective unless expressly repealed or amended by this order.
  • Inconsistent prior orders are impliedly repealed or modified.
  • This Order takes effect 15 days after its publication in two newspapers of general circulation.
