Revised Composition of the Energy Coordinating Council
- The Chairmanship is transferred to the Presidential Adviser on Energy Affairs, Office of the President.
- Members of the Council include:
- Executive Director, Office of Energy Affairs
- President, Philippine National Oil Company
- President, National Power Corporation
- Administrator, National Electrification Administration
- Secretary, Department of Trade and Industry
- Secretary, Department of Environment and Natural Resources
- Secretary, Department of Finance
- Secretary, Department of Justice
- Two (2) representatives from the private sector
- The Council members are empowered to elect a Vice-Chairman from among themselves.
Effective Date
- The amendment takes effect immediately upon signing by the President of the Philippines.
