Scope and Application in the National Capital Region (NCR)
- Applies to applications for a change of venue within the NCR.
- Applies only when the change of venue is accompanied by a change of denomination from private use to for-hire use.
Procedure for Accepting Change of Venue Applications
- The Pilot District Office is authorized to accept applications for change of venue with corresponding denomination change pending confirmation.
- Confirmation must be obtained from the district office where the vehicle was previously registered.
Conditions on Issuance of Documents
- The vehicle's Certificate of Registration and sticker are to be withheld by the Pilot District Office until the confirmation is received from the previous district office.
Requirement for Certificate of Public Convenience
- Applications must be accompanied by proof that the vehicle is covered by a duly approved Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC).
Exceptions
- This amended provision does not apply when the transaction involves the transfer of ownership of the vehicle.
