  • Composition of PBAC:
    • Chairman of the Mt. Pinatubo Commission (Chairman)
    • One representative from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)
    • One representative from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)
    • Two representatives from non-government organizations (NGOs)
    • For resettlement projects, a representative from the National Housing Authority (NHA)
  • All committee members appointed by the Chairman of the Mt. Pinatubo Commission.

Separability Clause

  • Provides that if any provision or part of the Act is declared unconstitutional or invalid, the remaining provisions shall stay effective and enforceable.

Effectivity Clause

  • The Act takes effect upon publication in at least two national newspapers of general circulation.
