Board Composition and Members
- The Board is composed of the following ex officio members:
- Secretary of Transportation and Communications (Chairman)
- Secretary of Finance
- Secretary of Economic Planning
- Secretary of Public Works and Highways
- Secretary of Budget and Management
- Chairman of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board
- Governor of the Metropolitan Manila Commission
- Administrator of the Light Rail Transit Authority
- One representative from the private sector appointed by the President, serving a two-year term.
Alternate Members and Procedures
- Officials next in rank or duly designated officials serve as alternate members.
- Alternate members can attend Board and committee meetings when principal members are absent or positions are vacant.
- In the absence of the Chairman, the Board shall elect a temporary presiding officer.
Allowances and Compensation
- The Chairman and each Board member receive:
- A monthly commutable representation allowance of PHP 1,000.00.
- A per diem of PHP 200.00 for every Board meeting attended.
- The total monthly per diem is capped at PHP 1,000.00 per member.
Effectivity
- The Executive Order takes effect immediately upon issuance on July 7, 1987.
