Amendments to Nutrition and Dietetics Exam Syllabi

The word "Applied" was replaced by "Community" in various titles and subtitles across the syllabi as stated in multiple sections of the annex.
Specific changes include replacing "Applied and Public Health Nutrition" with "Community and Public Health Nutrition."

The subtitle A.6 was expanded to include "Medical Nutrition Therapy, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Strategies."
Subtitle A.7 now features an addition referring to "student exposure to actual clinical or dietary practices" after the word "Settings."
Subtitle A.5 was supplemented by adding the phrase "Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Strategies."

The phrase "Fundamentals of" was inserted before "Food" in subtitles C.4 on pages 8 and 12 to clarify the foundational nature of the subject matter.
A specific numerical correction within subtitle A.6 was made, changing the figures in parenthesis to "2-3."
Complete deletion of all content on page 14 of the Annex was ordered to update the syllabi.

The amendments will take effect 15 days after publication either in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation, whichever comes first.
The revised syllabi will be used for licensure examinations only after six months from the effectivity date.
Copies of the amended Resolution will be furnished to:
- Deans of educational institutions offering Nutrition and Dietetics courses.
- Presidents of Accredited and non-Accredited Professional Organizations of Registered Nutritionist-Dietitians.
- These entities are responsible for disseminating the information to concerned individuals and sectors.

The resolution was adopted by the Board on July 1, 1996.
It bears the signatures of the Board Chairman, Members, the Secretary of Professional Regulatory Boards, and Professional Regulation Commission officials including the Commissioner and Associate Commissioners.
