Repeal of Conflicting Provisions

Section 261, Paragraphs (d)(1) and (2), Article XXII of Batas Pambansa Blg. 881 are repealed.
All other election laws, decrees, executive orders, rules, regulations, or parts inconsistent with this Act are likewise repealed.

Severability Clause

If any provision of this Act is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the rest of the Act remains effective.
The invalidity of a provision does not affect its application to other persons, groups, or situations.

Effectivity

The Act takes effect upon approval.
