Powers and Duties of the Board of Pardons and Parole
- The Board may adopt rules and regulations necessary to discharge its functions and duties effectively.
- It can request assistance from any government bureau, office, branch, agency, or instrumentality.

- Dissenting opinions must be documented in writing and filed with the proceedings.
Compensation and Meeting Provisions
- Each member, including the chairman and executive officer, receives a compensation of fifty pesos per meeting attended.
- Members are reimbursed for actual and necessary traveling expenses incurred during official duties.
- Board meetings are restricted to a maximum of three times per week.
- Compensation provisions are notwithstanding Section 259 of the Revised Administrative Code.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect immediately upon approval.
