  • Those on full time attendance in training grants, scholarship grants, seminar or any other similar activity are excluded for the specified duration.

Special payment rules and eligibility limits

  • Part-time officials and employees receive half of the amount received by a full-time official or employee in the same situation.
  • Officials and employees on full-time or part-time detail at another agency/office receive Hazard Pay from their mother agency.
  • Consultants are not entitled to Hazard Pay.
  • Officials and employees who would appear entitled to more than one type of Hazard Pay are allowed to enjoy only the type more advantageous to them.

Repeal and inconsistency clause

  • The Order includes a repealing clause requiring that all other issuances inconsistent with these guidelines are repealed/rescinded.
