Enforcement of Program Rating Time Slots

The MTRCB will strictly enforce the airing of GP rated programs between 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Parental Guidance programs aired outside the prescribed time slots will face regulatory consequences.

Penalties for Improper Scheduling

From August 15, 1993, PG programs aired during incorrect hours will only receive a one-month permit.
These permits will be non-renewable unless the program is rescheduled to the correct time slot.
Beginning November 1993, permits will be denied outright for PG programs aired at wrong hours.

Prohibition of Adult Rated Content on Television

Programs rated Adult (R-18) are strictly not allowed on television broadcasts under this regulation.

The Memorandum Circular was adopted by the MTRCB on August 2, 1993, under Chairman Atty. Henrietta S. Mendez.
Television stations are required to comply with these scheduling rules to maintain permits for airing PG and GP programs.
