Specific Restrictions and Limits by Vessel Type

  • Barges: Total restriction, implying no importation allowed.
  • Tugboats: Minimum power of 4000 BHP and a maximum age of 12 years.
  • Landing Craft Tanks (LCTs): Minimum size of 2000 DWT and a maximum age of 10 years.
  • Fishing Boats: Minimum size of 250 GRT and maximum age 10 years.
  • Cargo Vessels:

    • 1000 DWT and above: maximum age 10 years.
