Adoption of Architectural Experience Logbook

Accomplished Diversified Training forms (DT forms 001 and 002).
Architect-Mentor Affidavit.
Photocopy of Architect Mentor's valid Professional Identification Card.
Professional Tax Receipt.
Integrated Accredited Professional Organization of Architects (IAPOA) membership number.

A mandatory two-year period of varied practical experience in different phases of architectural services.
Experience is acquired after graduation and before licensure examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Architecture commissioned the United Architects of the Philippines, Inc. (UAP) through IAPOA to formulate a standardized Logbook.
The Logbook documents diversified architectural experience to comply with the requirements of R.A. No. 9266 and Board Resolution No. 07, Series of 2004 (the IRR of the Architecture Act of 2004).
The UAP submitted the Logbook and accompanying guidelines in October 2005.

The Board of Architecture adopted and issued the Logbook as an official document for licensure applicants following constructive improvements.
The Logbook is required for all applicants starting with the April 2006 examination schedule.

The resolution takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
Copies of the resolution are to be furnished to the PRC Application Division, UAP, PRC Regional Directors, and Committee on Discipline and Hearing of the Allied and Special Professions (CODHASP) for proper dissemination.

The actions taken are pursuant to Section 13(c), Article III of R.A. No. 9266 (The Architecture Act of 2004).
Operates within the framework of Board Resolution No. 07, Series of 2004, the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Architecture Act.
Ensures standardized and verified diversified architectural experience for licensure candidates.
