Requirements for Citizenship Grant and Oath Taking

After the court makes the findings required by Section 1, the order granting citizenship shall be registered.
The applicant must take the oath prescribed by existing laws.
The applicant shall only be entitled to all the privileges of a Filipino citizen after taking the oath.

Repeal of Conflicting Provisions

All provisions in Act Numbered 473 that are inconsistent with this Act are repealed.

Effectivity and Applicability

The Act takes effect upon approval.
It applies to cases pending in court and those where the applicant has not yet taken the oath of citizenship.
In pending cases where the publication requirements under the old law were already met, the new publication requirement shall not apply.
