Operationalization and Funding of the New Courts

The Chief Justice, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall include the new RTC and MTC branches in the Supreme Court’s operational program.
The necessary funds for the operation of these courts will be appropriated and released only upon the actual establishment of these courts and appointment of their personnel.

Amendment to the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980

Sections 14(e) and 30 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 ("The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980"), as amended, are amended to reflect the creation of the new judicial branches.
All other laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are modified, repealed, or amended accordingly.

Effectivity of the Act

The Act takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
