Assignment of Branch Number

  • The Supreme Court is tasked with assigning the branch number for the newly created RTC branch.

Implementation and Funding

  • The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, must immediately incorporate this Act's implementation into the Court's program.
  • Necessary funds for the operation of the new RTC branch must be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
  • Appropriation and release of funds for the Court's operation shall only occur upon the actual organization of the branch and appointment of its personnel.

Amendments to Existing Law

  • Section 14(b) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 (The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980), as amended, and any other inconsistent provisions are hereby repealed, modified, or further amended to align with the creation of the additional RTC branch.

Effectivity of the Act

  • The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.
