Purpose and policy intent

- The General Managers’ reimbursable allowance is adjusted to an amount not to exceed Seven Thousand Pesos (P7,000.00) per month.
- The allowance supports the building and maintenance of an effective networking system with officials of other government and non-government organizations.
Accountability, monitoring, and implementation
- The General Manager is accountable for the proper implementation of the memorandum’s guidelines.
- The Finance Services Manager is responsible for monitoring compliance and implementation.
- The Internal Auditor is responsible for monitoring compliance and implementation.
Supersession and effectivity
- Any provision in the NEA Memorandum dated 31 July 1997 on the Representation Allowance for EC General Managers that is inconsistent with these guidelines is deemed superseded.
- Any provision in the unnumbered NEA Memorandum dated 19 July 2000 on the grant of rice allowance for EC officials and employees that is inconsistent with these guidelines is deemed superseded.
- The memorandum takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
