- Reports or information transmitted by other government agencies to the Bureau of Immigration regarding foreigners’ misinterpretations in their offices must be forwarded to the Intelligence Division.
- The Intelligence Division is tasked with investigating these reports for possible violations of immigration and citizenship laws, rules, and regulations.
Monitoring and Database Management
- The Intelligence Division is responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive database to monitor and cross-reference reports of foreigners’ acts of misinterpretation obtained from other government agencies.
- This mechanism ensures systematic tracking and effective coordination in addressing these incidents.
Repeal and Amendment of Inconsistent Rules
- Any prior rules, procedures, guidelines, or issuances that conflict with the provisions of this Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly to ensure consistency and alignment.
Effectivity and Implementation
- The Order takes effect immediately upon approval.
- Copies of the Circular are to be furnished to the National Administrative Register (ONAR) and the U.P. Law Center in Diliman, Quezon City, for dissemination and record-keeping.
