The main purpose is to strictly enforce the mandatory BPS (Bureau of Philippine Standards) certification requirement for imported products covered by Mandatory Philippine Standards to ensure quality control.
All District Collectors and Deputy Collectors for Assessment of the various collection districts are required to ensure that the Mandatory BPS Certification is submitted for shipments under the Mandatory BPS Product Certification list.
The concerned BOC personnel shall be liable to the proper administrative sanctions.
It repeals and/or modifies all orders, memoranda, circulars, or parts thereof that are inconsistent with its provisions.
