The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board has implemented a revised schedule of fees and penalties effective January 1, 1999, establishing new charges for film and television review, processing, and registration, along with strict penalties for violations such as operating without permits or exhibiting unapproved materials.

Reproduction machine: letter size PHP 1.30 per copy; legal size PHP 2.00 per copy; enlarged/reduced size PHP 2.50 per copy. Dry seal: certified copy of permit to exhibit PHP 2.50 per copy.

Import/Export permit (per title/episode): PHP 200.00; Title Verification/Permit Renewal: PHP 200.00; Still photos: first 50 pcs PHP 20.00 per piece, exceeding 50 pcs PHP 30.00 per piece; layout for newspaper/poster/billboard (per title) PHP 375.00; posters/photframes (per piece) PHP 1.00.

Movie print PHP 7,500.00; movie trailer PHP 1,200.00; television materials PHP 1,000.00 per episode/program.

Film and TV producers/importers/exporters distributors/blocktimers: PHP 2,500.00. Film post-production studios/laboratories: PHP 2,500.00.

Class A (air-conditioned): PHP 2,500.00; Class B (non-airconditioned): PHP 1,00.00.

Metro Manila Television Stations: PHP 5,000.00; Provincial Television Stations: PHP 3,500.00; Cable television stations: PHP 3,000.00.

A 50% surcharge.

One (1) month closure.

Six (6) months suspension of PTE/prohibition from applying for PTE and confiscation of the film print or TV material.

Revocation of certificate of Registration and One (1) year closure.

First offense for theater: One (1) month closure. Second offense: Six (6) months closure. Third offense: Revocation of Registration and One (1) year closure.

First offense: Six (6) months suspension/prohibition from applying for PTE and confiscation of film print or publicity material. Second offense: One (1) months suspension/prohibition from applying for PTE and confiscation of film print or publicity material. Third offense: Permanent prohibition from applying for PTE and confiscation of film print or TV material.
