Applications for Food Products must be submitted on Monday (whole day).
Pharmaceutical product applications are accepted on Tuesday and Wednesday with Tuesday reserved for companies with names starting with A-M (A-E in the morning, F-M in the afternoon) and Wednesday for companies with names starting with N-Z (N-Q in the morning, R-Z in the afternoon).
A maximum of five applications per company for pharmaceutical products are entertained per day on a 'first-come first-serve' basis.
Applications must be supported by one complete set of documents as per the applicable checklist for product registration, a representative sample in commercial presentation for PSD evaluation, and the accomplished PAICS Form No. 99-01 indicating product classification and corresponding fees.
PAICS Form No. 99-01 is used to classify products for registration and to compute the corresponding fees, which are then used to issue an Order of Payment for the application.
No, additional documents will not be accepted after the application has been received by PAICS. The documents and form submitted are presumed complete and correct.
If filed one day up to three months after expiration, a surcharge equivalent to 50% of the renewal fee is imposed. If filed more than three months after expiration, the application is considered a new initial registration with corresponding initial fees.
Applicants must wait at least 90 days (three months) after submission before making follow-ups on the status of their application, and use a specific follow-up form issued by PAICS.
