EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 907

: The main objective is to undertake the reorganization of the Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA) into the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) to review and improve its operations to enable it to become more purposive in the pursuance of expanded services and functions.
: Under Republic Act No. 9593, otherwise known as the Tourism Act of 2009.
: The TIEZA Board of Directors and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) have the power to approve the OSSP.
: The compensation plan of the reorganized TIEZA shall be comparable with the prevailing compensation plans in the private sector to the extent practicable within the law, consistent with Section 105 of Republic Act No. 9593.
: Republic Act No. 6656, known as "An Act to Protect the Security of Tenure of Civil Service Officers and Employees in the Implementation of Government Reorganization."
: They shall be entitled to separation benefits as provided under existing laws governing the Civil Service or other laws or issuances, whichever is more beneficial to the employee, in addition to all gratuities and other benefits.
: Yes, subject to the approval of its Board of Directors, TIEZA may adopt and implement an incentive and assistance package for such employees.
: If any provision is declared unconstitutional, the remainder of the Executive Order not affected shall remain in effect.
: It took effect immediately upon issuance, on June 16, 2010.
