MMDA REGULATION NO. 03-001

: It further amends MMC Ordinance No. 78-03 concerning the authorization of traffic law enforcement agencies to tow and impound stalled motor vehicles within Metropolitan Manila and provides for the disposition of unredeemed and abandoned vehicles.
: The vehicle must be redeemed within one (1) month from the date of apprehension.
: The vehicle shall be sold at public auction on the first Monday of the succeeding month.
: Within three (3) days from the date the vehicle was towed and impounded.
: An impounding fee of P80.00 per day shall be imposed.
: Auctions are held every first Monday of the month.
: The winning bidder must pay for the vehicle within one week from the date of auction and retrieve or pull out the vehicle within the same week.
: It will be considered an abandoned vehicle and included again in the next auction.
: The proceeds are applied to accumulated charges (fine, towing, and impounding fees) and any excess amount is returned to the operator or owner.
: It took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in two newspapers of general circulation in Metropolitan Manila.
