MTRCB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 08-03

: The mandate of the MTRCB, as provided in Section 3 (b) of Presidential Decree No. 1986, is to review and approve promotional materials of movies and television programs prior to their exhibition, display, or publication.
: It applies to promotional materials of movies and television programs in any form intended for exhibition in theaters or television, display in theater lobbies, or publication in print media.
: The Memorandum Circular took effect immediately upon its adoption on April 30, 2003.
: They must be submitted to the MTRCB for review and approval prior to exhibition, display, or publication.
: Such acts are violations that merit sanctions as provided in the MTRCB Revised Schedule of Administrative Penalties.
