Private Emission Testing Centers (PETC) operating as mobile units in areas with existing stationary centers will have their authorizations revoked, as mandated by the LTO to ensure compliance and proper monitoring by regional authorities.

The order pertains to the accreditation and authorization of Private Emission Testing Centers (PETC) as either stationary or mobile centers and the regulation of their operational areas.

All Mobile PETCs operating in areas with authorized stationary centers will have their authorization cancelled.

All DOTC/LTO Regional Directors, Assistant Regional Directors, District Heads, and concerned employees are responsible for monitoring PETCs.

Irregularities should be reported to the PETC Monitoring Committee and Authorization Committee.

It took effect after its dissemination to all DOTC/LTO Regional Offices and Authorized PETCs.

The order was approved by Leandro R. Mendoza, the Secretary of the DOTC at the time.

Anneli R. Lontoc signed and adopted the order as LTO Assistant Secretary.

Their authorization to operate as Mobile PETCs will be cancelled.

The legal basis is the directive issued in LTO Department Order No. 2004-60 which mandates cancellation for Mobile PETCs operating in areas with authorized stationary centers.
