President Sergio Osmeña establishes standardized office hours for all government offices in the Philippines, excluding holidays, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with continuous hours on Saturdays, repealing a previous executive order.

The official office hours are from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM from Mondays to Fridays, excluding holidays.
