It is computed at 5% of the market value of the dangerous drug, as defined under the Regulation.
Section 2 provides fixed market value rates per specified unit/purity/weight basis, e.g., opium at ₱16.00 per gm of 10% anhydrous morphine, cocaine at ₱200.00 per gm of 95% purity, marijuana leaves at ₱1.50 per gm (fresh weight converted to dried weight), among others.
For any opiate drug or other prohibited drug (except marijuana), the maximum is ₱100,000.00.
For any marijuana or regulated drug, the maximum is ₱50,000.00.
The total maximum reward should not exceed ₱200,000.00 for prohibited drugs (except marijuana), ₱100,000.00 for marijuana and regulated drugs, and in no case should the total maximum reward for seizures of prohibited and regulated drugs exceed ₱300,000.00.
A reward of ₱50,000.00 is given for the laboratory and operators under specified RA 6425 provisions (Sections 7 or 14-A). Additional reward is given for the dangerous drugs seized as per Section 3, but the total maximum (laboratory + seized drugs) cannot exceed ₱350,000.00.

It must not be less than (a) 2.5% of the minimum fine under specified RA 6425 sections corresponding to the violation, or ₱500.00, whichever is higher; (b) 3% of the minimum fine under Sections 5, 8, 11, and 16, or ₱300.00, whichever is higher; and (c) in cases under Sections 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 18, and 19, not less than ₱200.00.
Section 5(a): 2.5% of minimum fine (for Sections 3, 4, 5, 9 excluding marijuana, 14, 15, 21 excluding manufacture of dangerous drugs and cultivation of marijuana plants, and 27), or ₱500.00 whichever is higher. Section 5(b): 3% of minimum fine (for Sections 5, 8, 11, and 16), or ₱300.00 whichever is higher.
For violations under Sections 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 18, and 19 of RA 6425, as amended.
It prescribes: (1) a basic reward computed at 5% of market value, (2) ceilings (maximum amounts) by type of drug and combinations, and (3) floors (minimum amounts) tied to minimum fines for specific RA 6425 violations.

It creates a Committee to review the prices from time to time and recommend revisions to the Board due to fluctuating market values.
One representative each from: the Dangerous Drugs Board, the Narcotics Command, the NBI, the Finance Ministry Intelligence Bureau, and the Bureau of Customs. The Chairman is chosen by majority vote among members sitting en ban.
