The SVEG is a special visa issued to a qualified non-immigrant foreigner who shall actually employ at least ten (10) Filipinos in a lawful and sustainable enterprise, trade, or industry. It grants special non-immigrant status with multiply entry privileges and conditional extended stay in the Philippines.

Non-immigrant foreigners who engage in a viable and sustainable commercial investment or enterprise in the Philippines, exercise management authority, have a genuine intention to indefinitely remain in the Philippines, are not a risk to national security, and whose enterprise employs at least ten (10) Filipinos in accordance with Philippine labor laws.

They are considered special non-immigrants with multiply entry privileges and conditional extended stay in the Philippines without the need for prior departure. Their spouse and dependent unmarried children below 18 years of age may also enjoy these privileges.

The SVEG can be revoked if the holder fails to maintain compliance with Section 2 requirements, obtained the visa through fraud or willful misrepresentation, is convicted of a crime by final judgment in the Philippines, or is determined to pose a national security risk.

If revoked under conditions of non-compliance, fraud, or national security risk, the foreigner shall be deported via summary proceedings. If revoked due to conviction of a crime, deportation occurs after serving the sentence.

The Commissioner must resolve applications within fifteen (15) days from the date of filing upon payment of regulatory fees.

Yes, within fifteen (15) days from receipt of the Notice of Disapproval, the applicant may file one (1) Motion for Reconsideration for review of the application.
