The NOC is composed of members from PAGASA-DOST, Philippine Council for Advanced Science and Technology Research and Development (PCASTRD)-DOST, College of Science UP Diliman, Training Center for Applied Geodesy and Photogrammetry UP Diliman, National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (NISMED) UP Diliman, National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), Rizal Technological University (RTU), and UBIQUOM, Inc.
Expenditures from public funds for the preparation of the IYA 2009 celebration shall be disbursed by concerned departments and agencies in accordance with existing accounting and auditing rules.
All concerned public and private entities are enjoined to support the activities lined up by the National Organizing Committee to ensure maximum public participation and government involvement in the celebration of IYA 2009 in the Philippines.
