The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has approved a Passenger Service Charge of PhP200 for domestic flights and PhP700 for international flights at the newly inaugurated Laguindingan Airport, effective April 30, 2013, to fund its operations.

Republic Act No. 9497 created the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines in March 2008.

Section 15 states that CAAP shall enjoy fiscal autonomy and that all moneys shall be used solely to fund the operations of the Authority.

CAAP management is authorized to conduct public hearings on revised fees and charges, subject to final submission and approval by the Board.

Because Laguindingan Airport was scheduled to be inaugurated and opened for operations on April 30, 2013, necessitating the immediate fixing of terminal fees to fund its operations.

Under Sections 17 and 26 of Republic Act 9497.

On March 5 and March 12, 2013, in Cagayan de Oro City.

The terminal fee approved is Two Hundred Pesos (PhP200.00) for domestic flights and Seven Hundred Pesos (PhP700.00) for international flights.

Starting from the airport's opening on April 30, 2013.

The terminal fees to be imposed shall follow the rates and schedule provided in CAAP Board Resolution No. 2012-059.
