Rates of duty with the symbol aSa are subject to negotiations in the year 2009, as indicated in the Notes for Schedule of the Philippines under the Agreement.

It took effect fifteen days after its complete publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines.

All presidential issuances, administrative rules, and regulations inconsistent with EO No. 767 are repealed or modified accordingly.

The Senate concurred in the ratification of the Agreement through Senate Resolution No. 131 on October 8, 2008.
