Republic Act No. 9087

: The primary purpose of Republic Act No. 9087 is to separate the Mankayan National High School, Cabiten Extension, from its mother school, and convert it into a separate and independent national high school to be known as the Cabiten National High School.
: The Cabiten National High School is located in Barangay Cabiten, Municipality of Mankayan, Province of Benguet.
: The principal of the Cabiten National High School shall be appointed by the Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports.
: Yes. The incumbent teacher-in-charge shall continue to act as principal until his successor is appointed and qualified.
: All assets, fixed and movable, personnel, and records of the Mankayan National High School, Cabiten Extension are transferred to the newly created Cabiten National High School.
: No. The positions, rights, and security of tenure of the personnel employed prior to the separation are not impaired according to existing laws.
: The initial amount necessary for implementation shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Mankayan National High School- Cabiten Extension.
: Future funding shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act for the continuous operation and maintenance of the school.
: Republic Act No. 9087 took effect upon its approval on April 8, 2001.
