A fine of not less than Fifty thousand pesos (P50,000) and not more than One hundred thousand pesos (P100,000), or imprisonment from one to six years, or both, at the court's discretion.

They must be registered nurses, have at least two years experience in nursing administration, possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with at least 9 graduate units in management and administration, and be members in good standing of the accredited professional organization of nurses.

Nurses must maintain competence through continual learning provided by the accredited professional organization or any recognized professional nursing organization, with programs approved by the Board.
