Q&A (OWWA MEMORANDUM OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 012, S. 2004)

The COPPA Certificate is issued to Overseas Performing Artists (OPAs) who completed the Comprehensive Orientation Program for Performing Artists (COPPA), serving as proof of attendance.

The OWWA Policy and Program Development Office (PPDO) is responsible for producing the COPPA Certificates.

Duly authorized representatives of CALEA, OPAP, and PASEI are authorized to pick-up and receive the COPPA Certificates.

The executive officers are responsible for monitoring the issuance and maintaining the integrity of the COPPA Certificates.

The COPPA Certificate is signed by the duly registered industry and NGO PDOS Trainers and an authorized official upon completion of COPPA's first and second days respectively.

OPAs receive the Certificate from the industry COPPA Trainer after the first-day session and must present it to the NGO COPPA Trainer on the second day.

Both must maintain their own Control Number to be written or printed below the Trainers' signatures on the certificate.

They must send a monthly report to OWWA-PPDO as per OWWA MOI No. 13, Series of 2003.

Non-compliance may lead to revocation of registration as a PDOS Provider after due process.

The COPPA Certificate is valid for three (3) years provided that the OPA is deployed to the same country during that period.
