They must retire having completed their term, become incapacitated, die while in service, or resign after reaching 60 years of age and having rendered at least 20 years of government service.
A lump sum payment equivalent to the salary for one year, not exceeding five years, for every year of service based on the last annual salary at the time of retirement, incapacity, death, or resignation.
An annuity payable for life equivalent to the monthly salary they were receiving at the date of retirement, incapacity, or resignation.
Because the Civil Service Commission is also a constitutional commission like the others, and justice, fairness, and equity demand extending the same retirement benefits to them.
All inconsistent laws, decrees, orders, rules, and regulations or parts thereof are repealed or modified accordingly.
It took effect immediately upon its signing on June 11, 1978.
