Executive Order No. 106 expands and delineates the Benoni Port Zone in the Philippines to accommodate increased port traffic and support regional trade and commerce, placing it under the administrative jurisdiction of the Philippine Ports Authority.

The main purpose of Executive Order No. 106 is to further expand and delineate the territorial jurisdiction of the Port of Benoni to accommodate the projected increase in port traffic and to support regional trade and commerce through proper development and provision of facilities.

The Benoni Port Zone is placed under the administrative jurisdiction of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).

The Port of Benoni serves as a link between the island of Mindanao and the rest of the country through the Central Nautical Highway, contributing significantly to vessel and passenger traffic growth.

The expanded Benoni Port Zone covers an area of 298,828.142 square meters, more or less.

All issuances, orders, rules, and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.

The Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon publication in a newspaper of general circulation.

If any provision is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the other provisions not affected shall remain valid and subsisting.

The Philippine Ports Authority is responsible for the proper zoning, planning, development, and utilization of the Benoni Port Zone, consistent with regional industrial plans of the government.

The Port of Benoni is located in Barangay Benoni, Municipality of Mahinog, Province of Camiguin.
