Q&A (BSP CIRCULAR LETTER)

The fee charged for a new BSRD form is PHP 50.00 per set.

The new fee took effect starting April 3, 2000.

The charge for replacement of a lost BSRD is PHP 2,000.00.

The PHP 2,000.00 fee covers the administrative costs incurred in replacing a lost BSRD.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) International Operations Department (IOD) administers the charges.

Registering custodian banks pay through debit of their regular demand deposit account with the BSP.

Foreign investors pay in cash or by manager's/cashier's check to the BSP-Cash Department through the IOD.

The new BSRD form is released only upon receipt of payment, either cash/manager’s or cashier’s check from foreign investors or debit authorization from registering custodian banks.

The circular was signed by Celia M. Gonzalez, Director.

The fees were established pursuant to Monetary Board Resolution No. 522 dated March 31, 2000.
