The official name of the school established is the Lamon Bay School of Fisheries.
It is established in the Municipality of Gumaca, Province of Quezon.
The purpose is to provide for the establishment of a school of fisheries in Gumaca and to authorize the appropriation of funds for its operation.
Three hundred thousand pesos was allocated for the initial operation of the school.
The initial funding was charged to the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 80 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools.
The sums necessary for the operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act thereafter.
This Act took effect upon its approval on February 8, 1982.
The Batasang Pambansa in session assembled enacted the law.
It establishes a new educational institution, the Lamon Bay School of Fisheries.
The Ministry of Education and Culture is responsible for the funds.
