Batas Pambansa Blg. 637 is titled 'An Act Establishing a Municipal Hospital with a Ten-Bed Capacity and Secondary Level Capability in the Municipality of Culaba, Sub-province of Biliran, Province of Leyte, to be known as Culaba Community Hospital, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor.'
The purpose of Batas Pambansa Blg. 637 is to establish a municipal hospital with a ten-bed capacity and secondary level capability in the Municipality of Culaba, to be known as the Culaba Community Hospital.
The hospital is to be established in the Municipality of Culaba, Sub-province of Biliran, Province of Leyte.
The hospital shall be established under the direct supervision of the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Health.
The municipal hospital shall have a ten-bed capacity.
The amount authorized shall not exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos (₱750,000).
Funds shall be taken from the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals.
Such costs shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
The Act took effect upon its approval on June 24, 1983.
The hospital is expected to have secondary level capability.
