An executive order establishes a program to manage the sale or disposition of the existing Iloilo Airport in the Philippines, with the proceeds being utilized in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Executive Order No. 282, dated February 17, 2004, established the Asset Disposition Program for the existing Iloilo Airport.

The ADP shall be managed by an inter-agency task force under the direction of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC).

The task force is composed of the Chairman (Undersecretary for Air Section/Staff Services, DOTC), Vice-Chairman (Assistant Secretary, Air Transportation Office), representatives from the Departments of Finance, Justice, Budget and Management, and the head of the Local Government Unit concerned.

The ADP shall study and evaluate the plan of action and handle the process for the sale or disposition of the existing Iloilo Airport.

The Project is funded with a loan from the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).

The proceeds shall be utilized in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and following the guidelines of the Department of Finance.

The ADP shall continue to exist until the purpose for which it was created has been achieved.

Representatives from the national government agencies composing the task force (Department of Finance, Department of Justice, Department of Budget and Management) must at least be Assistant Secretaries.

The ADP's coverage is specifically over the disposition of the existing Iloilo Airport.

It took effect immediately upon its signing on February 17, 2004.
