Republic Act No. 1895 is an act to establish a national agricultural school in the province of Quezon and authorize the appropriation of necessary funds for its establishment, operation, and maintenance.
The national agricultural school shall be established under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Schools.
The school can be established in any of the municipalities of Pagbilao, Tayabas, Mauban, and Lucena in the Province of Quezon.
The site shall be in public land in any of the specified municipalities and shall be determined by the Director of Public Schools in consultation with the Director of Lands.
Upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Schools, the President shall set aside and reserve the necessary portion of public lands in the specified municipalities for the establishment of the school and farm site.
The sum of one hundred thousand pesos was appropriated for the establishment, operation, and maintenance of the school for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1957, and for its subsequent operations.
The funds shall be drawn from any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
The act took effect upon its approval on June 22, 1957.
The Director of Public Schools must recommend to the President the reservation of public land for the school.
The Director of Lands consults with the Director of Public Schools to determine the site in public land for the establishment of the national agricultural school.
