Participation is voluntary without penalty for non-participants, no discrimination or additional charges for those who cannot afford fees, and no additional academic points for participation.

Informing students and parents about itinerary and rules, teacher supervision from assembly to return, encouraging parent volunteers, ensuring vehicle safety and capacity compliance, prohibiting riding on roofs or boarding platforms, and availability of a first-aid kit.

First offense: P1,000 fine; second offense: P2,500 fine; third and subsequent offenses: P5,000 fine plus suspension of all field trips for the remaining school period and following year.

The Division of City Schools Superintendent and school principals are responsible for administration and enforcement respectively.

The school may file an appeal to the Division of City Schools, which will issue a final verdict within seven days of receiving the appeal.
