: The declaration aims to focus national attention on the importance of the civil engineering profession and highlight its role in nation-building.
: The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE) is the organization associated with the celebration.
: PICE has more than 71,900 registered civil engineer-members and about 25,390 civil engineering student-members throughout the Philippines.
: The celebration coincided with PICE's 75th Year Anniversary and 38th National Convention held in Cebu.
: It was held at the Cebu International Convention Center, Mandaue City, Cebu.
: The proclamation calls upon all civil engineers and students to give their full support to the observance of Civil Engineering Month.
: Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa, Jr. authenticated the proclamation alongside the President.
