PROCLAMATION NO. 148

: Proclamation No. 148 declares Tuesday, February 28, 2023, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Escalante, Province of Negros Occidental, in celebration of its Charter Anniversary.
: The President of the Philippines, through an executive proclamation, has the authority to declare special (non-working) days, often executed by the Executive Secretary by authority of the President.
: The purpose is to allow the people of the City of Escalante to have full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the Charter Anniversary with appropriate ceremonies.
