: Republic Act No. 2195 is an act creating the Municipality of Sibuco in the Province of Zamboanga del Norte.
: The barrios of Sibuco and Malayal and the sitios of Cawit-cawit, Anungan, Parang-parang, Mantibo, Panganuran, Sarawagan, Lawi-Iawi, Tigbuaya, Pantamalitog, Maga, Pangian, Malog, Paniran, Lintangan, Limason, Siluput, and Limpapa from the Municipality of Siocon were separated to form the Municipality of Sibuco.
: The new Municipality of Sibuco is located in the Province of Zamboanga del Norte.
: The seat of government for the Municipality of Sibuco is at the present site of the barrio of Sibuco.
: The first mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors of the Municipality of Sibuco shall be appointed by the President, subject to the confirmation of the Commission on Appointments.
: The first appointed officials hold office until their successors shall have been elected in the next general elections for local officials and have qualified.
: Successors are elected during the next general elections for local officials, and the elected officials take over after qualification.
: Republic Act No. 2195 took effect upon its approval on May 7, 1959.
: The Act was enacted without executive approval.
: The Commission on Appointments confirms the President's appointment of the first municipal officials.
