Republic Act No. 374 is an act creating the municipality of President Roxas in the Province of Capiz.
The sitios and barrios of Aranguel, Culilang Pandan, Pinamihagan, Cadoulan, Quiajo, Sangcal, Pondol Marita, Madulano, Jabuyana, Bo-ac, Cabugcabug, Goce Badiangon, Bayuyan, Agbobolo, Cubay, Ibaca, and the sitio of Lotudlotud (converted into barrio Elizalde) were separated from Pilar.
The seat of government is at the site of the present sitio of Lotudlotud, which was converted into the barrio of Elizalde.
It is converted from a sitio into a barrio to be known as the barrio of Elizalde.
One-half of the unpaid balance of the loan is assumed by the municipality of President Roxas.
The loan was contracted by the municipality of Pilar from the National Government for its waterworks.
They are appointed by the President of the Philippines.
They hold office until their successors shall have been elected and qualified.
It took effect upon its approval on June 14, 1949.
