Republic Act No. 2187 is an act creating the Municipality of Claveria in the Province of Masbate.

The barrios separated to form the Municipality of Claveria are Claveria, Cawayan, Nonoc, Buyo, Taguilid, Boca Engaño, Peñafrancia, Maputing Bay-bay, Quezon, San Isidro, Mabiton, Nabasagan, San Ramon, and Calpi.

The boundary line shall be a straight line from the northernmost point in the sitio of Boaga in the barrio of Cawayan to the northernmost point of the sitio of Mahabang Baybay in the barrio of Calpi.

The seat of the government shall be located at the site of the present barrio of Claveria.

They shall be appointed by the President subject to the confirmation of the Commission on Appointments.

They hold office until their successors have been elected in the next general elections for local officials and have qualified.

This Act takes effect upon its approval.

The act was enacted without executive approval on May 7, 1959.
