Barangay Tumana was created by Republic Act No. 9432, which was approved on April 10, 2007.
Sitio Tumana in Barangay Conception Uno was separated from Barangay Conception Uno to create the new barangay, Barangay Tumana.
The new barangay shall exist upon the majority of the votes cast by the qualified voters of Barangay Conception Uno in a plebiscite.
